Portable malfunction detector for e.g. power steering

Detector comprises a tube with inlet sector (1), outlet sector (2) and two-way valve (3). Pressure gauge (5) detects any hydraulic circuit pressure drop due to a leak, the tube sectors ending in hoses for connection to the pump pressure outlet. In the valve closed position the gauge shows the pressure generated by the pump for comparison with a theoretical value.
