IMPROVEMENTS IN SEED METER FOR ROW CROP PLANTER UNIT

A seed meter for a row crop planter unit havinga seed disc rotating in a vertical plane includesimprovements for seating individual seeds in seed cells onthe periphery of the seed disc as the seed disc rotatesthrough the seed reservoir. The improvements also include abarrier brush for preventing seeds from entering thedelivery tube directly from the reservoir, and a brushholder which limits the effective width of a peripheralretainer brush so that the retainer brush cannot retain twoseeds simultaneously in the same seed cell.
