Mammalian IL-10 receptor subunits are provided, together with nucleic acidsencoding various species variants of the subunits. Usesof the nucleic acids and receptor subunits are also provided, includingmethods for screening for agonists and antagonists of the receptorligands, methods for producing diagnostic or therapeutic reagents, and methodsfor producing antibodies. Therapeutic or diagnostic reagentsand kits are also provided.
