摘要

The production of an active mass of electrochemical double layer capacitor electrodes or supercaps requires the use of a suitable, highly flat conductive material which is relatively inert. The aim of the invention is to provide an active carbon or carbon material which is suitable for the production of double layer capacitor electrodes, i.e. cross-linked carbon material which is produced by grafting an active precursor substance to the reactive sides or end groups in a carbon material and subsequently cross-linking these precursor substances with a polymer matrix or directly cross-linking the carbon material in the polymer network thus formed. A diisocyanate-terminated polymer is grafted to the reactive sides or end groups of the carbon material such as OH or COOH groups in order to cross-link the carbon material thus derived with polymers.
