BENZIMIDAZOLE DERIVATIVES AS ANTIFUNGAL AGENT AND ITS SYNTHESIS

PURPOSE: Novel benzimidazole derivatives and process for producing the same are provided which are expected to be useful as an antifungal agent. CONSTITUTION: A compound of formula (I), pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof and stereochemical isomers are prepared by reacting a compound of formula (II) and a compound of formula (III) in a solvent in the presence of a base at 40 to 120C. In formula, R represents 2,6-dimethyl morpholine, H, C1-6 alkoxy compound or 1,3-imidazole, 1,2,4-trizole, piperazine, pyrrolidine thiophenyl, morphline. An antifungal agent containing the compound (I) as an effective component is provided.
