JOINT WATERPROOF STRUCTURE FOR PRECAST CONCRETE SEGMENT BLOCK USING WATERPROOF SHEET

PURPOSE: A joint water proofing structure for precast concrete segment block using a waterproof sheet is provided to strengthen the air-tight of joint, and intercept the inflow of ground-water, and then secure the waterproof of tunnel, so that the damage of facilities by leakage can be prevented. CONSTITUTION: In the joint water proofing structure, an expanding water-stop(13) which is made of rubber is installed between the ends of precast concrete segment block(10). The water proof sheets(12) are fixed on the both end of precast concrete segment block. The water proof sheets which face each other are bound tightly in the inside of the tunnel. Therefore, the joint of concrete block is kept air-tight by the double water-proofing structure of waterproof sheet and expanding water-stop.
