PURPOSE: A method is provided in which the concentration of an environmental air component at a ppb level is measured in real time. CONSTITUTION: In a method which finds the concentration of an air-transported gas component in a gas mixture comprising at least three components, (a) a first conversion stage at which at least a first gas component in a first gas mixture is converted into a second gas in a first converter is contained, (b) a second conversion stage at which at least a third gas component in the first gas mixture is converted into the second gas in a second converter is contained, (c) a stage at which the first concentration of the second gas is measured after the first conversion state is contained, and (d) a stage at which the second concentration of the second gas is measured after the second conversion stage is contained.
