PURPOSE: A binder for Li secondary cell is provided to reduce the inputted amount by enhancing the binding strength of an active material to a substrate while maintaining same cell properties as conventional binders. CONSTITUTION: A cathode of Li secondary cell includes a cathode active material and the first binder. An anode includes an anode active material and the second binder. The first and second binders include acrylonitrile based the first polymer excellent in electric conductivity and the second polymer for increasing biding strength of an active material to a substrate. The first polymer can be polyacrylonitrile, polyacrylonitrile-buthadiene-styrene copolymer, polyacrylonitrile-vinylacetate copolymer, acrylonitrile-buthadiene rubber. The second polymer can be polyethylene oxide, plyethyleneglycoldiacrylate or polyethyleneglycoldimethacrylated. The ratio of the first and second polymers is 0.5:99.5 in wt%.
