PURPOSE: An air amount study value correcting method for a vehicle engine is provided to introduce air according to a corrected study value by comparing a study value before engine starting with a study value set higher than the study value before the engine starting, thereby preventing the fluctuation and increase of the engine rpm due to the suddenly increased air amount in case of the engine starting and preventing the sudden movement of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: An air amount study value correcting method for a vehicle engine includes the steps of adding a randomly set air mount study value raised by a predetermined degree to a previous study value before a study value immediately before engine starting, for determining whether the added study value is larger than the study value immediately before the engine starting(31), and correcting the study value while determining the added study value is correspond to a study value correcting condition(33,39). If the added study value is not larger than the study value immediately before the engine starting, the randomly set study value is corrected to a study value obtained by deducting the randomly set study value from the previous study value(32) and the correction of the air amount study value is carried out through the comparison with the corrected study value.
