摘要

The method involves measuring compression rate of a turbocharger, and determining minimum flow rate passing in the turbocharger from the measured compression rate. A set value airflow is calculated from set value torque applied to an engine, and the air flow injected in the engine is controlled by correcting the set value airflow, where the set value airflow is compared with minimum air flow. The air flow is injected in the engine is minimum air flow when the set value airflow is lower than minimum air flow. An independent claim is also included for an engine and turbocharger assembly comprising a controller.
