PURPOSE: A method for changing a washing amount table and for detecting the washing amount in a full automatic washing machine is provided to improve the detecting efficiency of the washing amount by changing the washing amount table of a microcomputer. CONSTITUTION: The washing amount is detected at a washing. An existence of data for resetting the washing amount is checked by searching a memory. In existing the reset data, a water level is set and displayed with a reset pulse number of the washing amount in the memory. Then, following processes are advanced. Thereby, the detecting efficiency of the washing amount is improved.
