摘要

PURPOSE: A method for measuring telescoped degree of a hot rolled coil and a method for judging telescope shape of a hot rolled coil are provided to track causes for facility malfunctioning according to the coiled shape, and operate control system at once when telescope is generated by collecting and analyzing accurate data during generation of telescope for data base. CONSTITUTION: The method for measuring telescoped degree of a hot rolled coil comprises the steps of measuring profile of the side surface of a hot rolled coil with a displacement sensor; setting the calculation range of telescope within points of 1/2 thickness of the hot rolled coil inwardly respectively from inner and outer coil edge points by the profile; and determining a telescoped degree from a difference between maximum value and minimum value within the calculation range. The method for judging telescope shape of a hot rolled coil comprises the steps of defining sectors in multi-stages in the order of from an inner coil starting point to an outer coil starting point using the profile data; calculating the maximum value of each sectors; and judging the overall telescope shape by comparing maximum values of each of the sectors with flaw standard values set in advance, thereby judging whether each sectors are projected or not.
