CONTINUOUS CASTING METHOD FOR PREVENTING CLOG BETWEEN UPPER NOZZLE AND SUBMERGED ENTRY NOZZLE IN CONTINUOUS CASTING MACHINE

PURPOSE: A continuous casting method is provided to effectively suppress the clog of nozzles. CONSTITUTION: An upper plate and a lower plate are fixed with a tundish body. A first intermediate plate and a second intermediate plate are additionally installed between the upper plate and the lower plate. To flow melted steel through the new plates, holes of the plates are moved toward the center of a center shaft to be composed of an upper nozzle and a submerged entry nozzle. Thereby, the holes are opened by penetrating the upper portion and the lower portion. To increase an amount of the melted steel, the hole is enlarged by additionally moving the plates. An inclusion in the melted steel is not contacted with walls of nozzles by continuously moving through the center of the melted steel stream. Thereby, a clog of the nozzles is prevented.
