MONITORING SYSTEM AND MONITORING METHOD FOR DIGITAL TV BROADCASTING TRANSMITTER

PURPOSE: A monitoring system and a monitoring method for a digital TV broadcasting transmitter are provided to make it possible to monitor the current status of the transmitting system using a TV capable of remotely demodulating monitor and field synchronization signals. CONSTITUTION: A modulator(210) performs modulation by receiving a broadcasting signal from a broadcasting station and multiplexing a monitoring field synchronization signal and the broadcasting signal including a monitoring data. A frequency upconverter(220) adjusts the frequency of the output signal of the modulator(210). An HPA(high power amplifier(230)) amplifies the output signal of the frequency upconverter(220). An antenna transmits the output signal of the HPA(230). A controller controls the entire action and generates the monitoring field synchronization signal.
