PURPOSE: A system and a method for analyzing the trends of sales of a virtual market is provided to enable a preliminary demander and a preliminary provider to predict the trends of sales of a product hereafter by opening a virtual market for trading products on a web, by collecting and analyzing quantities, prices, conditions on the products of the preliminary demander and the preliminary provider. CONSTITUTION: A user information screen of a virtual market site opened on a web is displayed(S201). It is judged whether a specific product is designated(S202). A research screen of the trends of sales for the product designated is displayed(S203). Response data from preliminary demander and providers are collected and analyzed(S204). It is judged whether a long-term tendency or a short-term tendency(S205). In case of the short-term tendency, quantities of purchasing and selling are collected in a minute and second. In addition, a price for the virtual market is marked(S206). A research result and the price are displayed(S207). In case of the long-term tendency, quantities of purchasing and selling are collected for hours and days. In addition, a price for the virtual market is marked(S208).
