PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for analyzing a trend in sales by regions for analyzing and displaying the accumulated value of relative points of sales ranking by regions for selected merchandise time sequentially with respect to a prescribed evaluation reference point, and to provide an analyzing apparatus and analysis system for the trend in sales by a regions analyzing method.;SOLUTION: This analysis system for trend in sales has terminals 2 for receiving and transmitting sales information of each kind of merchandise in relation to sales ranking by regions, an analyzing device for the trend in sales 3 for receiving the sales information of the each kind of merchandise from the terminals 2, storing the sales information one by one, selectively reading sales information of desired merchandise from the stored sales information of the each kind of merchandise, calculating relative points to a prescribed evaluation reference point about the sales ranking by regions of the selected merchandise, analyzing a time series change in the accumulated value of the relative points and displaying analytical results of the time series change, and a communication line 4 for transmitting the sales information of the each kind of merchandise of the terminals 2 to the analyzing device for the trend in sales 3.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
