Cement admixture composition based on slag powder

摘要

PURPOSE: A cement admixture composition comprising fine slag powder as a main component, gypsum and kiln dust is provided which saves manufacturing costs and promotes rapid hydration of slag powder, resulting in increasing the amount of cement substitution without deterioration of properties. CONSTITUTION: The composition comprises 80-85wt.% of fine slag powder having 3500-4500cm¬2/g of surface area, 3-5wt.% of gypsum having 5000-6000cm¬2/g of surface area, and 10-15wt.% of kiln dust more than 8000cm¬2/g in surface area. The concrete composition is characterized by substituting cement for admixture by 10-30wt.%, based on the weight of cement.
