PURPOSE: An optical communication interface module connected with an electric communication interface module of I2C communication protocol is provided to enhance a communication speed and increase a communication maximum distance by being connected with the electric communication interface module and performing optical communication. CONSTITUTION: Transmitting PNP transistors(TR11,TR21) are connected with input and output terminals of electric communication interface modules at their bases, and are connected with the ground terminal of the electric communication interface modules at their collectors. Pull-up elements(Rp11,Rp21) are connected with DC power terminals of the electric communication interface modules for dropping a voltage in proportion to a current amount. Laser diodes(LD1,LD2) are connected with residual one sides of the pull-up elements(Rp11,Rp21) at their anodes and are connected with emitters of transmitting PNP transistors(TR11,TR21) at their cathodes for generating a light. Light-receiving diodes(PD1,PD2) converts a light from received laser diodes of an object optical communication module into an electric signal. The first receiving NPN transistors(TR12,TR22) are connected with the anodes of the laser diodes(LD1,LD2) at their collectors and are connected with the ground terminal of the electric communication interface modules at their emitters, and bases of the first receiving NPN transistors(TR12,TR22) are driven by output signals of the light-receiving diodes(PD1,PD2). The second receiving NPN transistors(TR13,TR23) are connected with the input and output terminals of the electric communication interface modules at their collectors and are connected with the ground terminal of the electric communication interface modules at their emitters, and bases of the second receiving NPN transistors(TR13,TR23) are driven by the output signals of the light-receiving diodes(PD1,PD2).
