Whitening composition including the extract of the fruit of Evodia officinalis E. rutaecarpa

PURPOSE: A skin-whitening composition containing an Evodia officinalis extract as an effective component is provided. Therefore, the composition has an effect on reducing pigmentation in a concentration where it does not exert influence on safety of products so that it can be used for a skin-whitening cosmetic in an effective concentration. CONSTITUTION: This skin-whitening composition comprises 0.01 to 10.0% by weight of an Evodia officinalis extract and one or more extracts selected from consisting of Melia azedarach extract, an extract of Leonurus sibiricus seed, an extract of Angelica acutiloba seed, Leonurus sibiricus extract, Angelica acutiloba extract and Glycyrrhizae radix extract and has a synergistic effect on skin whitening.
