PURPOSE: A tree-planting mat is provided to promptly plant trees on slope surface without causing environmental pollution or contamination, soil erosion or loss of seeds by simply attaching the mat to the slope surface. CONSTITUTION: The mat comprises a coconut net(2) made of coconut fibers; a seed binding layer(7) containing various organic materials(3), seeds(4), coconut fibers(5) and natural rubber adhesive(6) together with another interposed adhesive(8). The net(2) is a lattice pattern matrix of coconut materials to provide nutrient to the seeds(4) and secure the seeds until the seeds grow and take roots. The organic materials(3) comprises 15-20wt.% of fallen broadleaves; 15-20wt.% of rice and wheat straw; 15-20wt.% of sawdust; 15-20wt.% of cut lawn and 30-35wt.% seedbed soil to provide nutrient to the seeds during sprouting and growing.
