SUBSTANCE: extension corset has base manufactured from plastically deformed closed contour such as flat ring, which is free of auxiliary connecting and fastening members in contrast to known corset. Such construction allows weight of corset to be substantially reduced. Corset has uniform section throughout the entire perimeter, so it has uniform plasticity in any point. Corset is fitted to patient's body by plastic deformation in three-dimensional coordinate system of carcass parts in accordance with individual features of patient's body constitution. Extension corset is used for treating injuries, such as fracture of vertebral column in thoracolumbar region, and diseases such as kyphosis.
