METHOD FOR SETTING DIFFERENTIAL ULTRASONIC DIAGNOSIS OF PEPTIC GASTRIC ULCER AND STOMACH CARCINOMA

FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying dopplerographic examination of abdominal aorta portion and celiac trunk in pulsating mode after finding stomach wall infiltration in B-mode. Spectral window presence or absence, minimum diastolic speed value, resistance index, pulsation index, relation of maximum systolic speed in the celiac trunk to one in the aorta are recorded. The measured parameters are processed to enable one to set differential diagnosis of peptic gastric ulcer and stomach carcinoma. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in differentiating both the diseases and neoplasm nature.
