The bracelet consists of a number of solid links (1), each with at least one hole (50, 50') through it for flexible cables (4, 4'). At least one of the end links is fitted with a flexible friction element (1.3) to grip the cable and anchor the link to it. The friction element is in the form of a spring strip with hole(s) (53, 53') for the cables and a fixing screw (20), fitted between two halves (1.1, 1.2) of an end link. The spring strip has bends in it when in its rest position, and it straightens out to grip the cable(s) when the screw is tightened.
