The object i.e. bracelet has a housing including two pairs of horns (2) arranged in each side of a watchcase (1), where each horn in provided on its inner side with a wedge (8) having a tapered end (9) and a slot (10). A fixing device includes two strands (3) each including a link (4) having grooves (5) adapted to the shape of the wedges of the horns. Each groove includes a pin (6) connected to a head operable by a user, and a spring, where the bracelet is locked on the watchcase when the wedges engage into the grooves of the link and the pins latch in the slots.
