The arrangement has the RF SQUID magnetometer (2) integrated into the tank resonant circuit (1), which contains a tank circuit coil enclosing the magnetometer. The tank resonant circuit and magnetometer form a planar structure. The magnetometer can have one of several alternative structures, including a SQUID with current injection SQUID structure.
