The system has a door (9) and a main (8) cradle, which are rigidly connected through a bumper system. The parts of a subdivided vehicle wall structure (4) are linked at points that correspond to bends or folds of a vehicle produced by a real impact trial. The main cradle is coupled so that a lateral displacement of the total vehicle is replicated, and the wall deformation is produced by the relative movement between the door and main cradles. The door cradle carries the subdivided wall structure on its impact side. The door cradle contains or carries the parts of the vehicle side structure parts or side doors. The parts of the wall structure are jointed to each other by joints (6,6') at points, which correspond to bends or folds of vehicle side structures produced in a previous real side impact trial or stemming from a computer-assisted structural computation, so that with the door cradle, the deformation and relative accelerations of the vehicle side structural parts with a side impact can be assumed to be realistic. The door cradle in a simulated collision direction can be acted on with a pulse of predetermined direction. The main cradle is rigidly connected to a structural part (1) formed after the floor plate. The main cradle carries the vehicle seats (3) and is coupled to the door cradle by a bumper system (10), so that after an impact of the door cradle, it is carried in the impact direction of the door cradle by the coupling over the bumper system, so that a lateral displacement of the total vehicle is replicated and the simulation of the deformation and relative movement of the wall structure is produced by the relative movement between the door and main cradles.
