PURPOSE: A vehicle crash simulation test apparatus and method, and a control system for the vehicle crash simulation test apparatus are provided to improve simulating performance by setting a push starting position of a piston based on data obtained from an actual vehicle crash test.;CONSTITUTION: A vehicle crash simulation test apparatus comprises a sled(11), a hydraulic cylinder(22), an accumulator(23), a servo valve(24), and a push starting position setting unit. The sled, in which a test piece(15) is mounted, is supported and moved in the longitudinal direction. The hydraulic cylinder is formed with a piston(32) to be pushed toward the sled. The accumulator is connected to the rear chamber of the hydraulic cylinder. The servo valve is provided in a discharge port(45) formed in the front chamber of the hydraulic cylinder. The push starting position setting unit has a control device(26) for regulating the opening degree of the servo valve and sets the push starting position of the piston based on data obtained from an actual vehicle crash test.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
