The device has a second memory (60) for storing the starting point and an arrangement for selecting the stored starting point as the destination point for a new route computation. The second memory is set up as a list for storing a number of destination points and a starting point can be selected as a new destination point on the list. An Independent claim is also included for a method of computing a route from a starting point to a destination point.
