The invention relates to a copolymerizate (A) which can be produced in an aqueous medium by radically polymerizing: a) at least one olefinically unsaturated monomer, and b) at least one olefinically unsaturated monomer which is different from the olefinically unsaturated monomer cited in a) and which is of general formula (I) R1R2C=CR3R4 (I), wherein the radicals R1, R2, R3 and R4, independent of one another, represent hydrogen atoms or substituted or non-substituted radicals of alkyl, cycloalkyl, alkylcycloalkyl, cycloalkylalkyl, aryl, alkylaryl, cycloalkylaryl, arylalkyl or arylcycloalkyl, with the provision that at least two of the variables R1, R2, R3 and R4 represent substituted or non-substituted radicals of aryl, arylalkyl or arylcycloalkyl, especially substituted or non-substituted aryl radicals. Said copolymerizate is used in a coating material which serves to produce filler coats and stone impact protection primers.
