Destroying bacteria in air-conditioning equipment using ozone and preventing escape of harmful dust and bacteria into the atmosphere

Destruction of bacteria in air conditioner channels is effected by adding ozone up- or down-stream of the ventilator in order to destroy bacteria and microorganisms between the ventilator (1) and the filter outlet (3). The destroyed organisms, along with dust, are then led onto the precipitation electrode (4) which is at pH 1 and/or ca. 14 to destroy and retain any remaining live organisms.
