Removing galvanic electrolyte residues form galvanically reinforced fiber structures comprises suctioning the residues from the fiber structures; subjecting the structure to a high pressure scrubbing liquid and suctioning the scrubbing fluid from the structures. The structure is suctioned in a suction state which has a suction device and a suction opening. A porous supporting device is inserted between the suction opening and a main surface of the structure. The residues and/or the scrubbing liquid are suctioned through the supporting device. Preferred Features: The fiber structures consist of nickel and/or copper chemically and/or galvanically deposited on plastic fibers of a textile substrate.
