The wall plug has a section (12) to which an article (36) can be attached and which protrudes from the wall. This is attached to an anchoring section (14) with ridges which fix the plug in a bore (24) in the wall (32). There is a plug (16) below the anchoring section whose distance for the top of the plug can be varied by spreading the ridges.
