The sticking device has a magazine (14) for the stacked postcards (16), a vacuum transfer drum (18) with at least one group of suction apertures (20), a separating device (22) for the cards which also takes them to the drum, and a glue application device (24) to apply glue to the journal or card. The sticking process takes place with the journals (12) continuously moving on a conveyor belt.
