Heating recycling gas and/or pyrolysis gas with the simultaneous evaluation of waste in a recycling gas cupola furnace with heated gas lines comprises heating the recycling gas transported in the suction and annular chambers and in the gas lines using a thermal oil fed into double wall recycling gas lines and heated by the heat losses from the furnace casing and/or by the heat of the excess gas heated up to 800 deg C and/or by the heat produced during processing of the excess gas and/or by the heat from an external source. Preferred Features: The recycling gas is heated to more than the highest dew points of the gaseous organic materials contained in the recycling gas.
