The extruded seal is formed from a first material (M1) and the contact bearing wall (24) has on its side remote from the closed hollow profiled section (21, 22) a second material (M2) in sections which has a lower coefficient of sliding friction than the first material. The first material can be co-extruded with the second material from plastics having different coefficients. The closed hollow profile can be divided by a web (26) into two chambers (21, 22) and the chamber closest to the retaining section (1) is larger than the chamber (22) further away from same.
