The screw connection has a screw (12) with a conical head (13) and a ring (14), whose outer surface has a spherical or ball-section form and is open split at one point. An implant, e.g. a tibia head plate (10), has a bearing ring inside a bore to support the ring. The inner surface of the bearing ring and the outer surface of the ring have complementary shapes, so that the ring moves in the bearing ring, as in a ball-and-socket joint. The ring is expanded by the screw head, so that it is pressed against the bearing ring to fix the angle of the implant. An Independent claim is included for a screw for the screw connection.
