The valve has an actuator unit, especially a piezoelectric actuator, and a hydraulic chamber forming a tolerance compensation and hydraulic transmission element with a leak compensation filler. A filler hollow chamber contains a choke body and has high pressure and system pressure lines opening into it at either end. The system pressure is set by specifying the bore of the choke and the dimensions of a piston. The valve has an actuator unit (4), especially a piezoelectric actuator, for operating a valve element (3) that interacts with at least one valve seat. A hydraulic chamber (13) between first and second pistons (9,11) of the valve element forms a tolerance compensation element and hydraulic transmission element with a leak compensation filler (24) connected to a high pressure region. A filler hollow chamber (25) contains a choke body (26). A high pressure connection line opens into the chamber at one end of the choke body and a system pressure line (28) to the hydraulic chamber opens into it at the other end. The system pressure is set by specifying the bore of the choke and the dimensions of a piston.
