Method in which a signal generator wheel (2) is attached to a rotating component (3, 4). The wheel has a large number of teeth around its circumference (5-8) that interact with two rotation speed signalers (9-11). The two signal speed sensors are arranged at an angle to each other such that a noise signal (15, 17) is suppressed and the required physical signal separated from it.
