The bus driver circuit (10) has an input stage and an output stage which are each provided with 2 complementary MOSFET's (P1,N1; P2,N2) with their source-drain paths connected in series between a supply voltage terminal and earth, the gates of the input stage MOSFET's providing the circuit input and the gate of one of the output stage MOSFET's coupled to the junction between the input stage MOSFET's and the gate of the other output stage MOSFET coupled via a negator to the circuit input. The junction between the MOSFET's of the output stage provides the circuit output (18), which is coupled to the gate of the first MOSFET of the output stage via a further MOSFET (P3) of similar type. The MOSFET's of the input stage are coupled via a diode (D) across which is connected the source-drain path of a MOSFET (P4) coupled to the circuit output at its gate.
