The sealing cap(1) has an insert(2) which has means for rotationally locked mounting on the bottle neck(3). The sealing cap when pressed onto the insert can be unscrewed from it. An under-gripping protrusion is formed on the insert and interacts with a locking protrusion(5) on the bottle neck. An Independent claim is included for a childproof sealing cap with shoulders orientated in mirror image fashion forming mating protrusions and which in cross section are aligned in such a way that their free ends leave an opening to accommodate a locking protrusion on the bottle.
