The console (44) incorporated in one of the housing clamp halves is for a positioning component, and the throttle valve (6) is located between the first (28) and second (29) housing rings. The housing clamp (43) comprises two parts (46,47) abutting crossways to the rotary axis of the throttle valve which can be tensioned together by integral locking elements (46,47), in order to fix together the two housing rings and the housing clamp. The housing rings have opposing mouthpieces (41,42) which engage one behind the other in the operating position of rotary lock bearing elements (34,35). USE/ADVANTAGE - A throttle valve fitting which requires very little maintenance, and can be used for regulating the flow of pourable materials, e.g. paints, hydrocarbon products, drinks or pharmaceutical products.
