Cup shaped biscuits are produced by cooking dough (P) in a mould (100) with a central shaping cone (210). Openings (121) near the top of the mould allow gas to escape as the dough rises to fill the mould. A filling can then be placed in the biscuit cup and a biscuit lid used to close it.
