The tricycle is composed of a front wheel axle unit carrying one front wheel (1) and two rear arms (10,20) each supporting wheels (2,3). The front ends of the arms are independently pivoted about an axis carried by an element of the front wheel axle unit and driven by the handlebars (4c) in a pivoting movement about the axis (u-u'). The arms are also pivoted in supports (23) located either side the longitudinal symmetrical plane of the front wheel about an axis parallel to the front wheel plane of symmetry and inclined by an angle of about 20 degrees to the vertical.
