The panels are mounted in flexible supports within the frame, so avoid transmitting vibration from panels to the supporting frame. The loudspeaker enclosure comprises six panels (1 - 6) linked together in order to form a polyhedral box, and two loudspeakers (9,10) fitted to one of the panels (5). An electrical signal is supplied to the box and connected to the two loudspeakers. The enclosure provides a resonant housing for the loudspeakers, but the panels are mounted such that each is independent of the others with regard to vibration. The enclosure comprises a heavy and rigid framework defining the corners of the box, with the panels being mounted with a flexible support. The frame may be made of beech, with slots for the panel edges which are generously cut w.r.t. the panel thickness.
