Blind photosensitive points (O1-O6) are included with normal photosensitive points (R1-R9) and a reader (CL) sends data to a processor (800). Average leakage currents from the blind photosensitive points at a reference temperature and at ambient temperature are used to determine the latter and an image gain or quasi image gain for ambient temperature is calculated and used to correct the ambient temperature image
