PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a correction device of an ambient temperature measuring sensor, image forming apparatus, and correction method of an ambient temperature measuring sensor for setting the ambient temperature around a housing more accurately to appropriately manage or control the devices inside the housing.;SOLUTION: A correction device of an ambient temperature measuring sensor of an embodiment includes a first measuring unit that measures the ambient temperature of a housing, a second measuring unit that measures the internal temperature of the housing, and a control unit that uses a correction constant that is set with first temperature characteristics of the first temperature measuring unit and second temperature characteristics of the second measuring unit, so as to estimate the ambient temperature and set the estimated ambient temperature as the ambient temperature of the housing in place of a result of the first measurement of the first measuring unit.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
