A composite material resistant to high temperatures comprises at least one layer of metal fibres with a diameter lower than 30 microns, this fibrous reinforcement being impregnated with a ceramic thermo-hardening matrix after impregnation with a resin base of sialate or polysialate and some charges habitually used with these resins.
