A fisherman's tackle accessory includes a tool mount 9 having a threaded shaft 16 by which it may be attached to a suitable socket on a handle or holder, the tool mount 9 having means 11 for supporting one of a range of different working tools such as a pruning saw, a cutter blade and a hook. The tool mount 9 may be attached to a pole handle which is already carried by the fisherman and the accessory can then be used to remove weed growth from a proposed fishing area. The tools are clamped in place by the bolt 12 and wingnut 13. The tools may be replaced without detaching bolt 12 from mount 9. Mount 9 may be attached to a holder (26, figure 8) mounted on a cord (28, figure 8) for use over long distances without a pole. A cutter blade (18, figure 5) capable of being folded against a bias if too large an obstruction is met may be used.
