Process for the preparation of anilines which contain fluorine and new anilines which contain fluorine

Anilines which contain fluorine in a side chain are prepared by reacting chlorinated aromatic compounds with ammonia in the presence of a catalyst and optionally water at 200 to 280 C. Some of the trifluoromethoxy-anilines which may be prepared in this way are new compounds.
