PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontal deflection circuit which can eliminate any zig-zag type longitudinal obstacles in the upper part, the central part and the lower part of an image plane, and a bilateral horizontal deflection device equipped with the circuit.;SOLUTION: An amplitude control circuit 125 controls the amplitude of a correction signal EW changing parabolically at a vertical scanning period on the basis of the level of an amplitude control signal EWG, and gives the amplitude-controlled output signal to adders 107, 108, which add the amplitude- controlled correction signal EW to the output signals of low-pass filters 107 and 108 and give the sum signals to a control circuit 109 for forwardly scanning and a control circuit 110 for backwardly scanning. The control circuit 109 and the control circuit 110 give gate pulses RD and TD to horizontal output FET's 111 and 112, respectively.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
